Weekly Challenges: At an end

So, I thought the weekly challenges would be fun and interesting, but in reality, I'm finding that they are stifling my desire to pick up the camera. It's a concept I still like, I believe the way I was going about it was wrong, but for now, I am stopping - I'm not going to be taking up week 3.

I do have another idea though...

I will be choosing a scene, a scene that I particularly admire. I'm not setting any time frame on myself, I believe this was a problem with the weekly challenge, that sort of pressure doesn't gel well with my disabilities.

Each scene I choose, I will attempt to recreate to the best of my abilities. Once done, I will post the results and a behind the scenes look at how I did it -  that may well be text description only, it may be a video, I'm not comitting to anything. If I'm happy that I achieved the quality of the original, then I will choose another, if not then, well, I will try again - or maybe move on to another if I can't stay entheusiastic about it.

I am being completely flexible about the idea, maybe I will put a personal spin on some, maybe others, I will attempt a completely identical copy, as much as possible.

This idea is making me much more inspired to pick up a camera and start shooting, and that is a good thing.
